BRASSERIE LIPP

151 Boulevard Saint-Germain
75006 Paris, France
01 45 48 53 91

Brasserie Lipp is a world-famous establishment on the Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. It is not exactly a restaurant, it insists on being called a brasserie because it is a perfect place where you can unwind and spend some free time with your dearest friends. Here, you can order a pint of cold “blond” beer or a glass of house Riesling accompanied by an  exclusive house  menu that offers a range of Alsatian cuisine. The charming art deco interior was created by Léon Fargue in 1926 and it hasn’t change ever since. The place is decorated with mirrors subtly tilted so that the clientele could see what is happening in every part of the main room.

Many celebrities are frequent to Brasserie Lipp, so you’ll get a good chance of meeting them while dining there. A few recent visitors include Sharon Stone, Richard Gere, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzeneger. One of the famous fashion photographers Terry Richardson loves to visit Brasserie Lipp every time he’s  in Paris. Richardson’s  big love for this place was projected into the fashion photograph of  Vogue’s 2009 edition.
