One of the classic movies that I enjoy re-watching is Rear Window by Alfred Hitchcock in collaboration with costume designer Edith Head.
The luxurious detailing with elegant shapes and of course the beautiful and sophisticated heroine Grace Kelly “Hitchcock Blonde” is what shaped this timeless and iconic collaboration of Hitchcock and Head.
In the upcoming Vogue US April 2013 issue the legendary creative director Grace Coddington worked with photographer Peter Lindbergh to recreate the setting of L.B. Jeffries’ apartment using her signature voguish twist.
Coddington worked with this season’s key pieces inspired by 50′s style fashion and vintage glamour.
Carolyn Murphy & Tobey Maguire were the perfect choice to replace the roles of Grace Kelly and Jimmy Stewart.
What do you think about 50′s style fashion? Would you recreate this look for yourself?
I love the classic/modern set: White shirt & textured a-line skirt!
